San Marzano tomatoes are considered the gold standard for Italian cooking, particularly for making authentic Neapolitan pizza sauce and classic pasta dishes. These premium tomatoes are grown in the volcanic soil around Mount Vesuvius in the Campania region of Italy, which gives them their distinctive sweet flavor and low acidity. Our whole peeled tomatoes are hand-picked at peak ripeness and processed using traditional methods to preserve their exceptional quality.
