Crispy breadsticks paired with a creamy pepper dip — a perfect appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

  • 300 g Mazza flour (tipo '00')
  • 150 ml water
  • 5 g yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil MazzaView product details
  • 2 tbls of Mazza pepper cream
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese (or ricotta)
  • 1 tbsp parmesan
  • Pinch of chili flakes

Equipment Needed

  • Mixing bowl
  • Rolling pin
  • Baking tray
  • Blender/food processor (for pepper cream)

Method

  1. 1.

    Knead dough, rest, and roll into sticks. Bake at 200°C (390°F) for 15–20 minutes.

    Blend the pepper cream with cream cheese, parmesan, olive oil, and chili.

    Serve breadsticks warm with the pepper cream dip.

Chef's Tips

For extra flavor, brush breadsticks with garlic oil before baking. The pepper cream can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
